Created 8/19 Image of my first drawings of the lamb including my oc. Here I express to the lamb my difficulty of attempting to draw them in which they baa excitedly. On the right is a more detailed piece where my oc is officially made.

Special Context

“..this one is real special, she can bear the crown and go on crusades without being turned into a demon. Use curses and weapons, carry tarot cards and absorb devotion. She also can’t die or be sacrificed, not that I’ve tried..”

“How’d you figure all that out..”

“A couple of rough run-ins during my time as a growing cult leader. The first time we met the crown recognized her somehow. We fought, wasn’t pretty, but she’s my friend now.”

“I’ll say, looks like a certain cat we know.”

“Narinder?”

“Narinder.”

Created 8/19, here the lamb is holding up my oc’s face to show the goat her face markings. The goat is more concerned than amused, referencing the one who waits.

Trapped

Someway somehow, capeless and crownless, the goat and lamb, with the cat and jackalope got trapped in a chest. Who’s going to save them? (8/21)

Chase

The Goat has some unfinished business with the feline. Knowing what the lamb does not. (8/24)

Created 8/28. Leshy tightly hugs and slightly lifts the feline, who’s shocked by the affectionate action.
Lore

Part 1: Present

The bishop that ended her life. Due to the trauma of dying in darkwood she dare not set foot there again. 

When the lamb brought Leshy back as a follower that fear and hatred fired up again. The lamb, wanting at least moderate peace had often forced them together indirectly, but she eventually learned the worm was practically harmless now, and enjoyed the hugs he gave her after getting used to his presence.

Leshy was the first to approach the feline this day. Although the worm couldn’t see he could feel the vibrations of her tail hitting the ground and smell the woodland scent of her fur, like home.

From that day on she had considered the worm an acquaintance. Maybe one day , even a friend. The lamb is pleased with this news.

Created 9/5. In this panel is the aftermath of Leshy’s hug, where the crown reports to the lamb the result of the worm and feline’s interaction. This took around 10-12 hours total between 2 days.

Created 9/6-7. From 8pm to 4am somehow because procrastinating. Here we have my self-insert lion ram behind the lamb that doesn’t know what’s going on!

Worked on for 2 days. (9/13-14) Here we have the feline being held chin up by Narinder, who had finished a ritual on her. She was now a potential vessel; all that was needed to accomplish that was the crown.
Lore

Part 1: Past

The One Who Waits had watched the feline fight in Leshy’s temple from purgatory, here was a different vessel that could be used. Watching her fall at the worm’s head he decided this could be an alternative plan. The bishops knew of a lamb, but could they fathom another cat?

Countless unfortunate ends he witnessed, but why take this one?

Many critters were not as formidable as she. To escape sacrifice and last in a bishop battle as long as she had was a feat. So it was decided; when the final lamb lay sacrificed and given the crown, if it strayed path he would command her to find it.

In due time the lamb and feline would meet and Narinder’s command would ring in her ears, “Heed my call, feline. You have a new task. Watch over the Lamb that bears my crown. And if it dares to defy me—tear it apart. You have the power to do so. My power.”

Reasoning

Lore

Part 2: Present

The One Who Waits. The being behind her curse of immortality and power. Never had she felt so powerless and so scared. She never wanted to see him again. Ever.

When the lamb brought Narinder in as a follower her senses flared, and she fled. It took 22 days to find her again. She had retreated to Forneus and as the lamb was returning Baal and Aym to her they found her again.. Convincing her to come back to the cult was extremely difficult but eventually she reluctantly followed.

Merely hearing the voice of Narinder sent her into a panic. It took an excruciatingly long while to get her roaming the cult again even now she still fears him and his voice, avoiding him every chance she gets. Although that becomes a challenge when the one you are hiding from is looking for you..

Unlike when Leshy had become a follower, the lamb made no moves to get them to interact, encouraging their separation. It was Narinder himself who sought her out. So when they did come in contact she was frozen in fear.

Created 8/29. Here Narinder explains to the feline what her initial purpose was. To serve as a vessel he could transfer himself to if the lamb failed, after all, she can too bear the crown.

Encounter: Anura

Finished 9/21, 12am. The feline towers over the lamb, who is attempting to convince her to stop attacking them.

Lore of the day: The Lamb

Part 1: Past

The lamb had already gone through an intense and arduous journey, finally having defeated Heket and revisiting her home for more resources. Coming into contact with what they presumed to be another creature in need of a home. 4 followers in a day? That’d be a record.

Unfortunately this was NOT the case, the creature, a cat, attacked on sight. The feline moved with skill and power unlike anything the Lamb had faced before. Yet she seemed reluctant, almost reasonable when not on the attack. Nevertheless, despite her hesitation, she was relentless.

The lamb was driven to temporary submission mid-battle as the feline drew closer.

Maybe they could talk their way out of this..?

Oh- Guess not..
